Just to let everyone know, I have moved CodeGrrl to a new server tonight. We are now hosted by Dreamhost. Over the past 6 months or so, visitors have been increasing steadily, and the old server just wasn’t coping with the load from the forums very well anymore.
The move went pretty smoothly, I am just now fixing the last few bugs in the forums. The MySQL database I moved over was 88MB in size - the vast majority of it caused by the forums! Anyway, I think everything is pretty much back up and running, but please let me know if you spot any errors anywhere.
Hopefully our new location will provide us with faster page loading and less downtime!
